Boutique architectural design firm and green consultant seeking one or two part-time architectural interns.
The primary position consists of LEED for Homes-related tasks to start immediately on a per project-basis. Responsibilities will include learning the LEED for Homes rating system immediately and technical assistance, including mathmatic calculations, (solar angle) diagrams, and minor Photoshop work. Additional responsibilities could potentially include attendence at LEED charrettes and correspondence with the project team, requiring a professional demeanor and excellent oral and writing skills.
An additional position could include turning 2D projects into 3D renderings (Rhino/3DMax) and various responsibilities related to a small firm. Web skills (HTML, CSS, Flash, etc. coding) a plus, but not required.
The candidate must be well-organized, able to work independently and willing to commute to Williamsburg or Greenpoint regularly. LEED AP a plus, but not required.
